West Loop Veterinary Care

West Loop Veterinary Care is a Veterinarian in Chicago, IL, located at 815 W Randolph St. The practice provides full-service veterinary care to pets in Chicago’s West Loop and Streeterville neighborhoods. Led by Medical Director Dr. David Gonsky, the experienced veterinarians and staff deliver compassionate care supported by high-end equipment and adherence to the latest American Animal Hospital Association guidelines. These distinctions reflect a focus on reducing stress for animals, particularly cats, through dedicated facilities such as separate entrances, reception areas, and condos away from dog treatment zones. The team offers thorough oral exams, teeth cleanings, spay and neuter surgeries, and urgent care for emergent medical issues. Operating hours vary by location, with the West Loop site open Monday through Friday and Saturday, and the Streeterville location offering similar weekday and Saturday availability. The practice maintains environmentally sustainable operations through energy-efficient design, water conservation using front-loading washing machines and dual-flush toilets, and an electronic medical records system that minimizes paper use. Cleaning products are biodegradable and safe for animals, and an in-house recycling program handles waste responsibly. Clients connect directly with team members by phone, avoiding automated menus, and can access the facility via street parking, metered parking, or adjacent lots. The Streeterville location provides a folding ramp for wheelchair access upon request. West Loop Veterinary Care holds a rating of 4.70 based on 566 reviews.
