AAA Pool Service is a third-generation, family-owned company that began in the 1950s when Matt Downes entered the industry. His son Harry founded the business in the late 1990s, and ownership passed to Harry’s son, Pat, in 2020 after Harry retired following more than 50 years in the field. Pat runs the company with old-school values: they answer their phones, do not overbook appointments, and always arrive on time. The team includes Certified Maintenance Specialists and Certified Pool Operators accredited by the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance. Weekly maintenance packages include water analysis for chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid, and phosphates, along with all standard and specialty chemicals like algaecides and phosphate removers. They offer free callbacks for cloudy pools and provide two opening methods: a traditional drain and clean or a vacuum opening that retains most of the water. Services also include winter closings and renovations such as replastering and tile repair.
