Pals for Pups of Bloomingdale

Pals for Pups of Bloomingdale is a pet sitter in Bloomingdale, Illinois, located at 60 Central Avenue. It holds a rating of 4.10 from customers on its public profile.

The business shares its name and operations with Pals for Pups, a dog care facility at 60 W Central Avenue in Roselle, Illinois (phone 1-630-894-7704). The operation is built around the philosophy that boarding a dog means taking responsibility for a member of the family. The Roselle facility covers 13,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space on 1.42 acres, with nine indoor and outdoor play areas separated by play style and size, all air conditioned and heated. The team behind the business includes Patti Howerton, who leads the pack leader staff and brings more than 35 years as a dog obedience instructor, having trained over 14,000 dogs. Services offered through the facility include playcare, sleepovers (boarding), training (beginning, intermediate, and agility), grooming (baths, medicated soaks, ear cleaning, nail trimming), and veterinary care. Playcare runs as a drop-off program where dogs are not rotated out for play and spend the day running in the indoor and outdoor areas. Sleepovers extend the playcare program overnight, with dogs housed in appropriately sized crates and given personal attention from staff. Training classes use a method based on praise and love rather than treats, with ten one-hour beginning classes available for dogs five months and up. Clients use a drive-up intercom at the motion-sensitive podium in the parking lot and pull up to the overhang for hand-off. The listed pay options for drop-off are check, cash, or Zelle, and the Zelle-linked email is [email protected]. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and pass a required temperament test before entering playcare, and sleepover dogs must be spayed or neutered by seven months.

With a 4.10 rating and decades of hands-on dog training and care experience, Pals for Pups of Bloomingdale brings the resources of a long-established Roselle-area dog care facility to pet owners in Bloomingdale.
