Godoy Law Office Immigration Lawyers

Godoy Law Office Immigration Lawyers is an immigration lawyer in Bartlett, IL. This immigrant-owned firm assists clients with green cards, citizenship, naturalization, and deportation defense. The team helps spouses, same-sex couples, fiancés, parents, and children with family-based immigration matters. They have helped over 6,000 immigrants make America their home.

The firm employs a multicultural team fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic. Some members formerly worked for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Attorneys handle adjustment of status, consular processing, and asylum claims, including asylum as a defense in deportation proceedings. They represent individuals facing the intersection of criminal and immigration law, addressing how criminal convictions impact status or trigger removal. The practice offers two guarantees: a written agreement detailing costs and a free administrative appeal if a case is denied despite following instructions.

The team guides clients through naturalization, ensuring applications are error-free and preparing them for interviews and exams. They assist with the ten-month timeline from filing to the Oath of Allegiance. The firm also advises on nonimmigrant visas and the Immigration and Nationality Act. They help clients determine eligibility for naturalization based on green card tenure, military service, age, disability, marital status, or criminal history. The attorneys help navigate grounds for deportation, such as aggravated felonies or crimes involving moral turpitude, and seek legal forgiveness where available. The firm has two guarantees: a written agreement so clients know what they are paying for, and no attorney fees for an administrative appeal if a case is denied and instructions were followed.

The firm holds a 5.00 rating based on 100 reviews. This strong local reputation reflects a large base of customer reviews and consistent high ratings.
