A Garden Guy Landscaping

A Garden Guy Landscaping is a landscaping company in Arlington Heights, Illinois. It designs, installs and maintains residential and commercial landscapes, and its services cover landscape design, hardscaping, lawn and turf maintenance, planting beds, flower gardens, edible gardens, landscape lighting and snow removal for both homes and businesses. The company serves Arlington Heights, Glenview and the wider Chicagoland area, and it holds a rating of 4.80 from customer reviews.

Design work begins with an initial consultation to discuss the needs of the project, and clients stay involved throughout the design process. Plans are drawn in DynaSCAPE software, which produces scaled plans and gives clients a conceptual view of the proposed landscape. Installation follows the completed design, and maintenance covers turf as well as planting beds, flower gardens and hardscapes. The company began as a full-service edible gardening company that built, maintained and harvested gardens, then expanded into shrubs, mulching and whole-landscape care before moving into full landscape design. It now does design-build work for home builders, commercial properties and individual homeowners, and other landscape companies in the Chicagoland area call on it for designs.

Hardscaping work includes pavers, retaining walls, steps and patios. Completed projects include paver patios, pillars and seat walls in Arlington Heights, and work in Evanston, Oak Park, Park Ridge and Inverness using Unilock and Rochester Concrete Products materials, along with outdoor kitchens, pizza ovens, pergolas, gazebos, fireplaces and fire pits. Designs, installations and maintenance follow horticultural practices intended to create sustainable landscapes, and crews wear company uniforms. Owner Matt Mlynski has been featured on WGN radio's HouseSmarts Radio with Lou Manfredini, and customers describe attention to detail such as drainage systems and geo-grid reinforcement in retaining walls.

For homeowners across Arlington Heights and the surrounding suburbs, A Garden Guy Landscaping pairs design, hardscape construction and ongoing maintenance under one crew, with a repeat-client base built on that range of work.
