Ray McDougal, P.E., founded the firm to meet the need for design and engineering services with greater flexibility and structurally sound design. The staff has combined construction experience of over 60 years. They use 3D rendering technology to generate digital walkthroughs of homes before construction begins. The company provides structural engineering services included in the design price, so clients do not need to find a separate engineer. Skilled staff advise on keeping construction costs down and help customize existing house plans or shape new visions into custom designs.

The process begins with a free, no-obligation consultation that can be held in their office or online. Clients outline the scope of their project, including architectural vision, room count, layout, and specific features. A detailed proposal outlining the scope and any required structural engineering services is prepared within two business days. After reviewing the proposal, clients sign a work agreement and pay a deposit to begin the design. The firm also sells completed home plans online, which can be downloaded after payment. Design changes and structural engineering services can be requested during the purchase process.
