Looyenga Photography

Looyenga Photography is a photographer in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, serving clients in the Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, Washington area and traveling worldwide for weddings and other sessions. The studio covers weddings, engagements, seniors, families, headshots, and commercial photography, with dedicated packages for engagements, seniors, and families. Brent Looyenga is the lead photographer. The business holds a rating of 5.00.

The studio's work centers on photographs as keepsakes meant to be shared for generations, capturing the emotion of a moment rather than serving as a disposable product. Brent's path into photography began when his wife, Crystal, was pregnant with their first child and he bought a camera to photograph their family. He photographed friends, family, locations, and events, and requests followed. He charged small amounts and put the money back into equipment, starting with a lens hood and a flash and later moving to higher-end lenses and a new camera body as weddings came in, five in that first year.

Looyenga Photography is based in Coeur d'Alene and works across the Coeur d'Alene and Spokane market, photographing weddings on Coeur d'Alene Lake and working in settings that range from mountains and lakes to fields and urban environments. Sessions include sunset photos and mid-day light.

The studio sits on Northwest Boulevard, steps from the Museum of North Idaho and about a tenth of a mile from Coeur d'Alene City Park. The Kootenai County Driver's License Office and the Kootenai County Recorder's Office are both roughly a tenth of a mile away.

A 5.00 rating reflects a positive response from the customers who have reviewed the studio. For couples and families around Coeur d'Alene planning a wedding, an engagement session, senior portraits, or family photos, Looyenga Photography brings a photographer who shoots the lakes, mountains, and fields of the area and travels beyond it as well.
