Idaho Rhythm

Idaho Rhythm is a dance studio in Caldwell, ID, serving families in Caldwell, Nampa and the surrounding Treasure Valley with dance classes, music lessons and an academic preschool. Dance instruction is taught by caring teachers in a safe and supportive environment, while music is offered as private and semi-private lessons with instructors who help youth excel. The studio also runs Nampa's only arts preschool, blending creativity into learning. Students have the chance to perform throughout the year in Nampa and around the Treasure Valley, through annual recitals and showcases, community performance teams and competition teams, with a commitment level for every student. Idaho Rhythm holds a rating of 4.90.

The studio began in 1984 as Treasure Valley Cloggers, dancing in a garage in Kuna. In 2005, long-time student Robbie Walker was offered the chance to take over the business alongside Kara Walker. From 20 students, the two have guided it to more than 600 students and added music programs and the academic preschool. Its stated mission is a fun and safe family-friendly atmosphere where dancers develop a passion for dance and a desire to succeed, and its values put family first, with family-friendly costumes, choreography and music, alongside excellence and growing leaders. The studio describes itself as More Than Just Great Dancing: the aim is not to teach kids to be great at the arts but to use the arts to make great kids, building confidence, self-esteem, accountability and lifelong friendships. Teachers are recruited with extensive experience, many holding degrees in dance, music or early childhood development. Kara and Robbie Walker own and direct the studio, supported by a competition director, dance and music instructors, member care staff and a preschool instructor.

Idaho Rhythm sits on Holly St, about 0.2 miles from Memorial Park and 0.4 miles from State Highway 19 and Cleveland Boulevard, with the US Social Security Services office also about 0.4 miles away.
