Boise Custom Windows

Boise Custom Windows is a window installer in Boise, Idaho. The company replaces windows and installs entry doors and patio doors for homeowners across Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, Kuna, and the greater Treasure Valley. It works with brands including Pella, Marvin, and Andersen, and also offers decks built with Trex products. Most projects are completed in one day, with larger jobs taking up to two days, and in-home consultations and quotes are free. Financing is available through GreenSky. The company holds a rating of 4.90 from its customers.

Boise Custom Windows was founded in 2018 by Taylor Richards, who has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, having started framing houses at 15 and worked in framing, roofing, siding, windows, and finish carpentry, including over a decade as a general contractor. Taylor leads the company as Owner and CEO, and Stevee Trevino oversees operations. The team is factory-trained and factory-certified, and installations are handled by in-house installers rather than subcontractors.

Beyond straightforward replacement, the company expands window openings, adds new windows and doors, resizes or closes openings, and takes on structural work and permits as a licensed and insured contractor. Finish carpentry experience allows it to create larger openings or brand-new openings, including in dark spaces such as basements, with work built to local building codes. Customers describe complete packages in which the company lined up siding repair, drywall, trim, and paint, and coordinated painters, finish carpenters, and stucco work on complex projects. Pella products carry manufacturer warranties, and the Pella Care Guarantee is available to replacement customers who purchase and install Pella products through their local Pella Window and Door Showrooms.

The business sits on West Overland Road on the Boise Bench, about four-tenths of a mile from Bowden Park, Whitney Elementary School, and the Bennett Lateral canal, and roughly the same distance from South Vista Avenue.

Boise Custom Windows has built its reputation on a 4.90 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, with reviews pointing to attention to detail, craftsmanship, punctual crews, and competitive pricing on Pella products. For Treasure Valley homeowners weighing a single window replacement against a full-home transformation, that record of licensed, permitted, in-house installation is the company's strongest credential.
