The family-owned and operated business has served the Des Moines area for more than 15 years. The team provides residential painting services for interior and exterior projects, ranging from refreshing a single room to full house renovations. Services include professional color consulting and free estimates.

Golden Touch Painters employs a 10-step process for its projects. The process begins with a consultation, which can be conducted in person following safety protocols or by video. Clients receive an immediate price quote at the bid, followed by a detailed bid quote. On the first day of the project, the team conducts a walkthrough to reconfirm all details, paints, and the sequence of areas.

Preparation work involves protecting floors, fixtures, and equipment with plastic and clean drop cloths. On exteriors, pavements, decks, plants, furniture, and grills are covered with drop cloths or plastic coverings, and all windows and screens are protected. Furniture is moved away from walls, edges and fixtures are taped, and outlet and switch plate covers are removed.

Exterior repairs include power-washing with bleach, wood replacement, securing loose boards with screws and nails, and applying plastic wood filler and elastic spackle. Interior repairs involve patching, caulking, sanding, and spot-priming all holes and cracks. Glossy surfaces are sanded for maximum adhesion and a smooth finish. Bare wood is primed to prevent tannin bleed and ensure adhesion, and stains are primed to prevent bleed-through.

High-quality finishes are expertly applied to deliver a stunning result. The jobsite is cleaned daily and thoroughly upon completion. The team performs a final walkthrough to ensure client satisfaction. Each project includes a two-year warranty.

The company is licensed and insured. Team members are 100% background checked. Customers can contact Golden Touch Painters at (515) 664 4277 or via email at [email protected].
