All Pro Servicenter

All Pro Servicenter is a transmission shop in Urbandale, Iowa, part of a full-service auto repair business that has served the Des Moines metro since 1991. The shop handles all makes and models and offers preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, including air conditioning, alignment, battery service, bearings and seals, belts and hoses, brake systems, charging systems, computer diagnostics, cooling and heating systems, diesel repair, drive trains, engine service, exhaust, fluid service, fuel systems, oil changes, scheduled maintenance, suspension, timing belts, and tire rotation, balancing, and sales. It holds a rating of 4.70 from its customers.

The business began in 1991 with the purchase of an existing auto repair shop in Urbandale that had five bays and five employees. It has since grown to six locations across the Des Moines area with 30 bays and 28 employees. Managers and service writers are trained in customer-focused policies that rely on clear, honest communication, and the shop contacts customers before repairs begin with a diagnosis and estimate. Repairs are covered by NAPA's nationwide 24,000 mile, 24 month warranty, and AAA members receive discounts by showing their card. Work performed at the shop does not void a factory or dealership warranty.

The Urbandale location sits on Meredith Drive, about a tenth of a mile from the Grand Lodge of Iowa and a short distance from Merle Hay Road. Aspen Athletic Club is roughly four tenths of a mile away, Jensen Neighborhood Park about half a mile, and Haymarket Mall about six tenths of a mile.

Customers describe the shop as honest and transparent about pricing, efficient, and communicative, with staff who work with them on their vehicle needs. The Urbandale location is one of six All Pro Servicenter shops serving Des Moines, Ankeny, Urbandale, and West Des Moines, giving drivers in the metro a local alternative to the dealership for maintenance and repair.
