The turf program offers a six-step service that includes fertilizer with broadleaf weed control, which can be selected with or without insecticide to prevent grub worms. Services are tailored to fit various budgets. The company also provides aeration and overseeding, which is noted as great for athletic fields and residential lawns to relieve soil compaction. A fescue and bluegrass mix is recommended for these treatments. Insect pest control addresses issues such as Japanese beetles, bagworms, fleas, ticks, chiggers, ants, and spiders. Additionally, tree fertilization is available, using soil-injected fertilizer calibrated to match the diameter of the tree.

Brad Trede, the owner, grew up on a farm outside of Treynor, Iowa, and attended Northwest Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture. He began his career at Struyk Turf alongside Garry Struyk and his son Doug Struyk. Trede served as General Manager for ten years after college, forming a strong work ethic during that time. He later launched his own lawn service, specializing in fertilizer, weed control, aeration, over-seeding, and insect pest control. Trede emphasizes training employees to ensure specialized services are handled with the right touch.
