BDS Landscape

BDS Landscape is a landscaping business in Rome, GA, located at 61 Doyle Rd. It holds a rating of 4.90 based on customer reviews.

Founded by Brandon Shurley in 2005, the company operates two crews serving the ring of towns around Rome, with a focus on residential new construction and new pools. BDS Landscape manages the entire envelope around a house, including pools, grade, drainage, walls, terraces, turf, and planting. The team handles pools and the surrounding hardscape, such as decks, coping, retaining walls, and fencing. They also install segmental block walls, cut-and-fill grading, and drainage systems including French drains, catch basins, downspout tie-ins, and swales. The same crew applies brick, block, stone, and concrete work. Additional services include ornamental aluminum and wood privacy fencing, low-voltage lighting, and zoned irrigation systems.

Projects begin with a site walk to assess grade and drainage, followed by a detailed site plan with real dimensions, a planting schedule, and material selections. Pricing is provided line by line, quantifying square feet of terrace, face feet of wall, and linear feet of fence. The company documents every job by flying a drone before and after from the same angle and height. Work includes final grade, soil amendment, and sod laid with staggered joints. They install stone fire features, fireplaces, water features, and pergolas. Beds are cut with a real edge and laid out to the architecture. Upon completion, the team walks the property with the owner, provides watering guidance, and shoots the finished property from the air.

BDS Landscape has completed over 300 jobs since 2005. The company is known for its personal attention, with owner Brandon Shurley frequently meeting clients and answering calls. Reviews highlight the team's punctuality, professionalism, and ability to handle large projects. The business stands among the strongest in its category locally, reflecting a positive rating from customers who value thorough execution of groundwork and clear documentation.
