Happy Tails Pet Lodge of Wesley Chapel

Happy Tails Pet Lodge of Wesley Chapel is a pet boarding facility in Wesley Chapel, Florida, located at 10014 Ehren Cutoff. It offers dog and cat lodging, doggie daycare, grooming and long-term care, and holds a rating of 4.70.

The lodge sits on three fully fenced, park-like acres with a waterfall and lagoon. Lodging and daycare guests go outside to play four to five times a day, with access to the water lagoon and its real rock waterfall. The lagoon's deep end is 2.5 feet and graduates out like a beach, and a smaller area eight to twelve inches deep gives smaller dogs their own space. An old-fashioned well pours water the dogs try to catch, and spouts come up from the ground for them to run through. Rooms are air-controlled, and most have their own outside porch area where pets can sit in the sun and watch the other dogs play while waiting for their play group's turn.

Dog suites are air-conditioned with outside runs overlooking the play areas. A separate suite area is set aside for smaller, younger or older guests so they stay in a quieter spot. Cat guests have their own room with a mural of an oak tree and a three-level, cat-size tree fort to play on and explore. Bedding is supplied, or owners may bring their own, and bringing a pet's own food is recommended since changing diets can upset stomachs. Pets must be current on shots: rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella within six months for dogs, and rabies, FVRCP and FeLV for cats. Lodge hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm, and Sunday 10:00 to 11:00am and 5:00 to 6:00pm.

The facility has earned a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the care it provides to pets across Pasco County.
