Founder Taylor developed the menu after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 18. She educated herself on nutrition and conducted kitchen experiments to create recipes that allow flavor to shine without using additives or methods like frying or microwaving. Taylor mastered substituting ingredients to replicate nostalgic foods, such as using applesauce instead of butter in baking and yogurt instead of mayonnaise. Her approach addresses the limited healthy options available, a need she recognized while competing on a traveling horse circuit where she prepared meals in hotel rooms.

The menu features breakfast, veggie blends, today's specials, lunch, protein shakes, snacks, and drinks. Customers can purchase the vegan protein used in the shakes. The cafe serves cold beer and wine and operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.

The 4.60 rating reflects a positive standing among customers who have reviewed the business.
