The business is family owned and operated, having begun as a side-hustle for founder Mitch Teckman. Teckman is a lifelong artist, tattooist, and local musician. He initially created custom tattoo designs and screen printed T-shirts out of his garage to promote his tattoo shop, Legendary Tattoos, and his clothing brand, Legendary LTD. Demand from local business owners, bands, and clients led to the official opening of Legendary Screen Printing & Design in 2015.

What started with one artist and a small press has grown into a full-service apparel printing operation. The team consists of talented artists from diverse creative backgrounds. The company offers direct-to-film printing, embroidery, and laser engraving. In 2025, the addition of laser engraving prompted a rebrand to Legendary Custom Merch. The business continues to help companies, bands, and brands promote themselves through custom printed apparel.

The business maintains a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it. This reputation reflects the satisfaction of clients who have utilized its printing and engraving services over the years.

Legendary Custom Merch combines its artistic roots in music and tattoos with professional printing capabilities to serve the creative needs of Tarpon Springs and the wider Tampa Bay area.

Located on US Hwy 19 N, the business sits about half a mile from North Lake of Tarpon Springs and the local Fishing Dock.
