Grooming at Kute Kuts begins with an analysis of each pet's coat type, since coats vary from breed to breed. The shampoos are made with naturally derived ingredients, free of harsh soap and parabens and containing no dyes, and are formulated to soothe and hydrate the skin and coat rather than dry them out, addressing skin allergies, irritations and fleas. The groomers use different clippers, rounded scissors and brushes selected for each coat, and they work with the anxiety and aggressiveness some pets bring in. Services include regular baths to wash away dirt and help prevent skin irritations, ear cleaning, detangling to keep coats from pulling painfully on the skin, brushing that removes damaged and dead hair and distributes the dog's natural oils, nail trimming to reduce the risk of tears, cracks and painful posture, and anal gland cleaning. Grooming also allows early detection of lumps, bumps and skin irritations. When Kute Kuts started, the idea was to create an open space that gave clients a full view of the workspace where pets are cared for.

The business sits on SW 73rd St, about a tenth of a mile from Southwest 72nd Street and South Dixie Highway. Barrington Academy, the South Miami train station and South Miami Library are all roughly a tenth of a mile away, and South Miami Fire Department Station 14 is about two tenths of a mile from the location.

Kute Kuts has built a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it while serving South Miami's pets from the same spot for more than three decades.
