Grow With Us Academy is a daycare in Pinecrest, Florida. The school was founded by Mindy Becker, who has worked with children and families since 1990. She is a Barry University Summa Cum Laude graduate who majored in Exceptional Student Education, was introduced to Conscious Discipline in 2001 while working with medically fragile children at Children's Rehab Network, and went on to teach for Miami-Dade County Public Schools Pre-K ESE programs. She is a Loving Guidance Associate and a National Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor who has presented in the United States and internationally, including at NAEYC conferences. Every teacher and administrator at the academy is trained in Conscious Discipline, a research-based self-regulation program developed by Dr. Becky Bailey that combines social and emotional learning with discipline and guidance. The academy describes its curriculum as child-led and innovative, built to foster creativity, confidence, and independence, and states that it is the only preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten in South Florida endorsed by Loving Guidance and Dr. Bailey that uses Conscious Discipline as its primary approach.

The academy sits on Killian Drive, a short walk from the Pinecrest Public Library and the Pinecrest Community Center, both within roughly a tenth of a mile. Parrot Jungle and Pinecrest Gardens are each about a tenth of a mile away, and Southwest 111th Street runs nearby.

Families in Pinecrest looking for early childhood education grounded in Conscious Discipline, from the toddler years through kindergarten, will find that approach at the center of what this academy does.
