Up River Campgrounds

Up River Campgrounds is an RV resort in North Fort Myers, Florida. It operates as an active adult community offering RV campground rentals and park model homes for sale, with sites that include spacious concrete lots, additional concrete patios, and full hook-ups for 30 or 50 amp service. The resort sits along the semi-salt Caloosahatchee River, where manatee, fish, and migratory and local birds are found. The Caloosahatchee is the region's Intracoastal Waterway, connecting Lake Okeechobee to Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound, and giving boaters access to the Gulf of Mexico, Sanibel and Captiva Islands, and Fort Myers Beach. Guests have a full calendar of activities, and the resort is convenient to local beaches and national parks.

The resort offers a Park & Play arrangement for stays of three nights per week for up to 12 days a month, so campers can leave their rig set up rather than towing, setting up, packing, and towing it home each time. Reservations are taken for the 2026-2027 season, and discounted rates are available through the summer and spring. Upriver RV Resort is located at 17021 Upriver Drive on State Road 78 (FL-78), one mile west of State Road 31 (FL-31), 1.5 miles east of Interstate 75 at Exit 143, and eight miles east of US Highway 41 (US-41).
