Jupiter Piano Lessons

Jupiter Piano Lessons is a music school in Jupiter, Florida, led by instructor Lisa Ayoub-Lumaban. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she majored in songwriting, and has studied with jazz instructors. Lisa brings over 25 years of teaching experience, working with students from kindergarten age through retired seniors, and has taught styles ranging from classical to ragtime to jazz improvisation. She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association. Lessons are tailored to students of all ages, and parent participation in children's lessons is encouraged.

The studio sits in the quiet confines of Lisa's home and lessons are taught from a Yamaha grand piano. The studio is equipped with recording equipment, giving students immediate feedback on their performances, with audio files of the recordings available upon request. The curriculum grounds every student in music theory, emphasizing scales, chords, music reading and basic classical repertoire before introducing jazz improvisation and songwriting. Advanced students work on more complicated pieces across a variety of genres, and the curriculum is tailored to each student's individual needs. Former students have gone on to Bak Middle School of the Arts and Dreyfoos School of the Arts.

The first lesson is free and serves as an evaluation lesson. Lessons are paid on a semester basis of approximately 15 to 16 weeks, with no registration fees, and one Saturday per semester is set aside for makeup lessons.

The studio is located on Viewpoint Ct, about half a mile from the North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area and roughly the same distance from Jupiter School and Limestone Creek Elementary School. Jupiter Community Park and Limestone Creek Nature Reserve are each within about a mile.

Jupiter Piano Lessons holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting a teaching practice built on making music enjoyable while developing each student's personal creativity.
