Clermont Driving School of Groveland

Clermont Driving School of Groveland is a driving school in Groveland, FL, serving students across Lake, Orange, Osceola and Polk counties. Instruction is behind the wheel: students learn by driving a vehicle under the supervision of a trained instructor, an approach built to give them the practical experience behind safe and effective driving. Programs cover first-time drivers, traffic tickets, suspended licenses and road test preparation, and state-approved online courses are available for those who need them. A 12-lesson, 6-day quick start package is offered, with free pick-up and drop-off and no vehicle provided for the driving test. Spanish-speaking instruction is available.

The school's stated mission is to put safe drivers on the road, and its programs are aimed at preventing the personal and economic loss associated with accidents and health hazards. Instructors work from a clear plan that begins with an overview of the road test, seat and mirror adjustments and basic controls, then moves through highway driving and the various parking skills. Lessons cover real-life situations on the road rather than the road test alone, and practice takes place in dual-control cars. Students describe instructors who are patient and professional, and one notes being given resources to review between lessons.

The school is located at 1203 W Hwy 50, Suite F, in Groveland, about 2.1 miles from West Myers Boulevard.

It holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, who describe instructors who prepared them to pass the driving test on the first attempt and who built their confidence on the road.
