Before establishing her own school, she worked in her family’s upstate New York kennel, helping groom small breeds and train German Shepherds, including SchutzHund imports from Germany. She also accompanied her father on sets for television shows like All My Children and print advertisements for Wolfschmidt Vodka, supplying dogs for various scenes. After moving to Florida, she attended Florida Atlantic University while starting her dog training business to pay tuition. Her school eventually became the largest and most respected in Palm Beach County, offering group and private lessons at twelve different locations. The program garnered referrals from thirty-two veterinarians and attracted a client list that included notable figures such as Jack Nicklaus and Jimmy Buffet. Babette continues to serve clients through personalized plans designed to address specific behavioral struggles, from leash pulling and barking to jumping and aggression. The business is recognized for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the reputation of its trainer.
