Amelia Repair LLC

Amelia Repair LLC is an appliance repair service in Fernandina Beach, FL. The business is run by Matt Randle, a mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience and three patents, and it covers a broad range of fix-it work that goes well beyond appliances alone. Services include repairing home interiors and exteriors, maintaining investment properties, fixing cars and trucks, working on electronics, installing appliances, assembling furniture, changing door locks, hanging fine artwork, and setting up security cameras. The business also installs cellphone-accessible security systems, ring doorbells, deadbolts, and solar-powered outdoor lighting, and it provides recurring services such as changing A/C filters and running property checks while owners are out of town. Matt has also begun offering side-by-side project coaching, bringing his own tools and training so customers can safely complete projects like painting and powerwashing on their own afterward. More than 625 service visits were completed in 2025.

Matt has built an online following as well, with over 7 million YouTube views teaching people how to repair everything from dishwashers to disc brakes. He lives on Amelia Island with his wife Jenny, their two children, and a toy poodle named Izzy, and his approach centers on completing every repair cost-effectively and with quality. He also advocates for customers dealing with other contractors and mechanics, and offers second opinions on outside repair work. Locksmith services are available through the business.

The shop is on Egret Lane, about four-tenths of a mile from Baptist Medical Center Nassau, half a mile from the Fernandina Beach Post Office, and half a mile from Sadler Road. Emma Love Hardee Elementary School is roughly seven-tenths of a mile away, and Amelia Musical Playhouse and South Fletcher Avenue are each about eight-tenths of a mile from the address.

With a 5.00 rating across 63 reviews, Amelia Repair LLC holds one of the strongest customer reputations on the island. Repeat and referred business has been a steady part of that standing, reflecting the trust Matt has built with homeowners and property owners across Fernandina Beach.
