Design & Cut Landscape Services was founded in 1998 by Steve and Sharon Armstrong, who began with one truck, one trailer, and a small crew. It has grown into a woman-owned, family-operated company with a fleet of specialized vehicles and multiple crews, and it has served the area for more than 26 years. Sharon, born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, works alongside her husband and son. The company reports that 90 percent of its original clients from 1998 remain with it today. Its ISA-certified professionals handle tree trimming to support healthy growth, remove hazardous limbs and unhealthy trees, and grind stumps below the ground surface so the remaining portion and roots decay naturally. Its irrigation specialists combine knowledge of plant ecosystems with water-management technology to keep landscapes healthy while reducing water use. Land clearing turns overgrown areas into ground ready for gardens, pathways, and outdoor spaces.
