The firm is led by David Zide, President and Managing Member, who moved to Florida in 1986 after attending Franklin College and Hocking State College in Ohio. Before leading Landtec, David worked in the real estate community as a title representative and then as an underwriter representative, building a broad network of industry associations. The staff includes over one hundred professional, technical, office, and field personnel drawn from the surveying, title, real estate, banking, appraisal, and legal fields. Customers can adjust lender clauses directly through the firm's SURPASS processing and scheduling system. Full color surveys flag any adverse conditions, and the firm completes most surveys within just a few days. Prominent customer branding is offered on completed surveys as an option. Landtec holds an A rating from Angie's List and has been recognized for providing surveying services to Florida's land title and real estate industry as well as residential construction and renovation clients.
