The group also provides NAMI LGBTQ+ and Young Adult discussion groups for adults in the LGBTQAI+ community who have mental health conditions.

Educational programs include NAMI Basics, a six-session program for parents and caregivers of youth, and NAMI Family-to-Family, a free eight-session program for family and friends of people with mental health conditions. NAMI Smarts for Advocacy helps people living with mental illness, friends and family transform their passion and lived experience into skillful grassroots advocacy. Other workshops include Hope for Recovery, Mental Health First Aid for Adults, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and QPR Gatekeeper Training.
