Holiday Lanes

Holiday Lanes is a bowling alley in Westport, CT. The alley welcomes bowlers of all ages and skill levels and has been an established part of the South Coast bowling scene for decades. Holiday Lanes operates a sports pub, a snack bar serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and other food, a selection of video games, and Massachusetts State Lottery tickets. The alley runs year-round adult, junior, and senior bowling leagues and hosts birthday parties, fundraisers, and corporate outings. Doors open as early as 12 p.m. daily. Holiday Lanes holds a 4.30 rating.

Holiday Lanes is owned by P&G Bowling, formed in 1980 when Phyllis and Ernie Hoesetery, along with Norman and Gail Gendron, purchased Bowlers Country Club in Fairhaven, MA. They added East Providence Lanes in Rumford, RI in 1985, and then acquired Holiday Lanes in Westport and Wonderbowl in New Bedford, MA in 1993. In 1999 the original Fairhaven center was closed and sold so the owners could invest in their remaining properties. The three centers share modern scoring systems and on-site food and lounge areas. The bowling alley sits on State Road, just off Post Road East, with Deadman Brook a short distance to the side. The Westport Police Department, Baron South park, and Deadman Brook Pond are all within roughly a third of a mile.
