Tree Wise Guys of CT LLC

Tree Wise Guys of CT LLC is a tree service in Plainville, CT. The company provides professional tree removal, storm damage cleanup, stump grinding, shrub removal, land clearing, and topsoil and grass seed restoration across Hartford County, serving communities including New Britain, Southington, Bristol, Berlin, Newington, Meriden, and West Hartford. Owner and lead arborist Kris Rutkowski runs each job personally with a small crew, offering free same-day estimates and 24/7 emergency storm response. The business is licensed and insured and has been operating since 2004.

Tree Wise Guys is a family-owned and operated business built from the ground up by Kris Rutkowski, who came to Connecticut from Poland and learned the trade as a laborer before starting the company in New Britain. He does not subcontract work or dispatch from a call center; when a customer hires Tree Wise Guys, Kris walks the property, operates the equipment, and oversees cleanup before anyone leaves. The company invests in equipment suited to the tight residential lots common in Connecticut, including a spider lift for reaching over fences and between structures, as well as a bucket truck and skid steer. The crew grinds stumps below grade, hauls away every log and chip, and finishes stump cavities with topsoil, hydroseed, or straw so the lawn heals cleanly. The business runs Monday through Saturday from 7am to 7pm, with emergency response available on Sundays.

The office sits on Woodland Street, steps from Woodford Avenue and the Quinnipiac River. Hamlin Pond Park and Quinnipiac Park are each about four tenths of a mile away, and Linden Street School is within walking distance.

Tree Wise Guys holds a 4.90 rating from its customers and has built its reputation on referrals from Hartford County homeowners who value that Kris is on every job and treats each property like his own.
