Organic Ink Tattoo of Norwalk

Organic Ink Tattoo of Norwalk is a tattoo shop in Norwalk, CT. Its artists work in a broad range of styles, including American traditional, black and grey realism, fine line, geometric, Japanese, neo-traditional, new school, tribal, watercolor, dot work, biomechanical, Celtic, mandala, ornamental, script, lettering, and portrait work. The shop also takes on tattoo cover-ups and reworkings, and offers piercings and a selection of body jewelry. Custom design is central to the practice: artists adapt to each client's vision, turning ideas into original tattoos or reworking older pieces. The shop holds a rating of 4.80 from the customers who have reviewed it.

The studio's artists each bring their own specialty. Joey, working as Taylor Made Ink Co, has produced custom black and grey work such as a tuxedo cat design with vines, jack-o-lanterns and a planchette, a surreal eye with twisted trees and birds, and a floral sleeve blending lilies, blossoms and an angel centerpiece. Thea works in fine line and botanical pieces, including a composition of mushrooms, ferns and leaves, as well as a black and grey comic-inspired design. The shop also hosts visiting guest artists; Mikhail, known for fine-line, geometric and futuristic designs, has taken a guest spot, and Sebastian Gomez has tattooed there for limited two-day engagements.

Organic Ink Tattoo is at 176 Main Street, about a tenth of a mile from Main Street itself and a similar distance from Catherine Street. Willie Morrer Park is roughly two tenths of a mile away, with New Canaan Avenue and Ward Street close by, and the Norwalk River about three tenths of a mile from the shop.

The shop's rating reflects the experience of the customers who have reviewed it, and its artists cover both the classic tattoo vocabulary and the fine-line and custom work that draws clients seeking one-of-a-kind pieces in Norwalk.
