The shop handles sweaters, coats, suits, dresses, drapes, quilts, pillows, spreads, antique lace, and bridal gowns, and provides free military uniform cleaning at all 12 of its Connecticut locations. The shop uses the GreenEarth drycleaning method, which is free of harsh chemicals and uses silica, the element found in ordinary beach sand, as its main ingredient. The method leaves fabrics softer and colors vibrant longer with no chemical odor, and is safe for fine silks, linen, cotton, wool, cashmere, and lace, including fabrics labeled "Do Not Dryclean." An Express Bag service lets customers ask for a free bag at the counter, fill it, and drop it in the 24-hour box, and a V.I.P. express service keeps a credit card on file so orders can be picked up without waiting to pay. Customers who provide an email address are enrolled in Best Rewards, which increases savings as more orders are serviced. The business has been family owned and serving the area since 1954.

The shop sits on South Main Street, about 0.1 miles from Long Hill Brook and Pameacha Pond, and roughly 0.1 miles from Farm Hill Road. The Middletown Senior Center is about 0.2 miles away, and Russell Street is about 0.3 miles away.

Its 4.80 rating reflects a positive reputation among the customers who have reviewed it, and the shop has served the Middletown area as a family business since 1954.
