Team Woofgang & Co. is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 by Kelly Maffei, Amy Stern, and Kris Burbank, three Fairfield mothers of adults with disabilities. The founders established the organization to provide daily purpose for young adults with disabilities who were about to leave state-provided educational programs. Their mission was to offer job skills and vocational training for disabled adults who had aged out of the public school system support, which abruptly ends at 22 years of age. The organization bridges the gap in services available for loved ones after they turn 21.
