Alonso Guzman, a native of Puerto Rico, trained in martial arts before studying at The Ailey School. He worked as a dance demonstrator for Milton Myers at The Juilliard School, The Ailey School, and Steps Dance Studio. He danced with Ballet Hispanico, The Metropolitan Opera House, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, and Karole Armitage.
