Barking Bubz was founded in 2019 by Vanessa, a professional dog trainer, and Lexi, a certified canine nutritionist. The founders created the business to prioritize quality over volume, moving away from large commercial pet care facilities. Training methods are positive reinforcement focused and relationship based. Vanessa studied animal and human behavior and psychology at Colorado State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Lexi provides individualized meal plans and nutritional support for dogs with allergies, sensitivities, and special dietary needs. The name Barking Bubz is inspired by the founders’ rescue dogs, Layla and Vector, who overcame severe behavioral and health challenges.

Exercise services are designed to help dogs burn energy through individualized attention. Enhanced Dog Walking sessions include loose-leash practice and engagement. Lure Course Racing offers a safe outlet for chase instincts. City Bikejoring teaches safety and teamwork during rides. Treadmill Training uses a self-propelled slatboard for controlled exercise. Pack Walks provide group socialization and regulated access to other dogs. Packages and memberships allow for priority scheduling and bundled session costs.
