The Body Refinery

The Body Refinery is a Pilates studio in Sherrelwood, Colorado, serving clients from Northglenn and the surrounding area with Reformer Pilates classes. The studio offers group classes for all fitness levels, from beginner to expert, built around full-body workouts that engage every muscle group to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance. Sessions blend classical Pilates principles with contemporary fitness elements, and the studio is led by owner and founder April, who brings more than ten years of personal Pilates experience and eight years as a certified instructor. She grew up as a dancer and has since built her practice around adding contemporary elements to classical work. The studio holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it.

Classes are designed to meet members where they are and progress from there. The classical work is rooted in the teachings of Joseph Pilates and honors the core principles of breath, precision, control, concentration, centering, and flow, while the contemporary side of the programming adds modern training methods. Every session, whether classical or contemporary, is a full-body workout. The studio describes itself as a space that enriches members' lifestyles through an intentional approach to Pilates that goes beyond physical fitness, and it works with certified Pilates experts and industry partners to support members' wellness goals. The studio environment pairs curated high-energy playlists and dynamic lighting with Reformer equipment.

The studio is located on Melody Drive in Northglenn.

The Body Refinery's 5.00 rating reflects the experience clients report, including one reviewer who noted that April paid close attention to her strengths and weaknesses and tailored a program that built both her physical capacity and her confidence. For a studio of its size, that kind of individual attention is the work itself.
