Crooked Beech Brewing Company

Crooked Beech Brewing Company is a brewery in Loveland, Colorado, that opened its doors after owners Michelle and Jake relocated to the area in 2022 to launch the business. Jake first began homebrewing an IPA in 2012, and the idea for the brewery took shape around a firepit at a family barbecue. After retiring from the Air Force in 2018, he pivoted into commercial brewing, working his way up from washing kegs at a local brewpub to the brewhouse. The brewery and taproom together serve as what the owners describe as Loveland's front porch, a gathering spot for families and friends.

The taproom and attached outdoor spaces are designed with families in mind. Kids can use a small play area with a slide and playhouse in the beer garden, or an indoor play area in the taproom for younger children. Dogs are welcome throughout, including inside the taproom, on the patio, and in the beer garden. Food trucks visit Thursday through Sunday, with the weekly schedule posted on the brewery's events page and social media. Small snacks are sold in the taproom, outside food is permitted anytime, and several popular takeout spots share the parking lot and are within easy walking distance. The taproom is open Sunday from noon to 8 pm and Monday through Thursday from 2 to 9 pm, with extended hours of noon to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday. The brewery holds a rating of 4.80 from the customers who have reviewed it.

The taproom sits on North Garfield Avenue, with Buchanan Avenue and the 29th Street corridor nearby, and a Colorado driver's license office roughly a fifth of a mile away.
