Additional services such as blow-drying, brush-outs, and haircuts are available as add-ons, with pricing for these tailored to the dog’s coat length and condition. They utilize a six-point S.C.E.N.T. wellness check after each visit, with results accessible via the Scenthound App. The business serves all dog breeds and uses positive reinforcement techniques to ensure a calm, safe environment.

The facility separates its offerings into basic hygiene, blow-outs, and haircuts so clients only pay for what their dog needs. Members save 25 percent on services. The company was founded in 2005 by Tim and Jessica Vogel, starting as a mobile dog grooming service before expanding to salons. Their mission is to educate dog owners on the importance of basic hygiene, noting that nine of the ten most popular breeds do not require haircuts but still need routine care. They emphasize that routine care is preventive health care, supporting overall health and helping prevent infection and mobility issues. The team includes Lucy, the Chief Dog Officer. They structure appointments to be efficient, often using towel drying to keep visits quick. If a dog becomes overly stressed or displays risky behavior, they pause or refuse service to prioritize safety.

Scenthound Centennial West holds a 4.80 rating based on customer reviews. The business emphasizes a calm, structured environment and uses positive reinforcement techniques to help dogs build confidence and trust through regular, predictable appointments.
