Tres Birds of Denver

Tres Birds of Denver is an architect in Denver, CO. Founded in 2000, the firm operates as a full-service planning, architecture, and general contracting practice, delivering design and build services for clients who want a single team from concept through construction. The work spans mixed-use developments, corporate headquarters, net-zero energy homes, museums, and city parks, with projects concentrated in Denver and Boulder and additional work reaching Loveland, Seattle, and Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Tres Birds holds a rating of 4.90 based on customer reviews.

The firm works across architecture, art, engineering, and science, with a team described as progressive systems thinkers who design healthy, efficient spaces aimed at reducing carbon footprints. The practice frequently repurposes humble regional materials to produce sustainable and affordable results, and each project is shaped to bring wellbeing to its occupants and the surrounding ecosystem rather than to carry a signature style. Notable completed work includes the Elevated Walkway at Arkins Promenade in Denver, completed in Summer 2022 as part of the City of Denver's Game Plan for a Healthy City, and Rino Art Park, a Denver master planning project also completed in Fall 2022 that combined full-service architecture, interior design, and landscape concept design. The Art Preserve in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, opened in Summer 2019 and brought together site planning, full-service architecture, interior design, and exhibition design for a museum project.

The office sits on Steele Street in the Clayton neighborhood, about a tenth of a mile from Pioneer Charter School and roughly a fifth of a mile from Bruce Randolph School. City of Nairobi Park is about a third of a mile away, Schafer Park is just under half a mile, and Denver Fire Station 10 sits about half a mile from the studio.

With more than two decades of work in Denver and a near-perfect customer rating, Tres Birds brings an integrated design-build approach to architecture across Colorado.
