Gentle Hearts Pet Sitting

Gentle Hearts Pet Sitting is a pet sitter in Denver, Colorado, providing at-home pet care and private daily dog walks to the Denver area. The company has been caring for pets since 2008 and describes itself as a small, local business rather than a franchise. Its services cover daily dog walking, potty breaks, and pet sitting visits, with walks kept private for the dogs of a single household. Sitting visits include fresh food and water, walks or potty breaks, playtime, medication administration when needed, litter box cleaning, and attention for the pets. Clients can choose one, two, or three visits per day, and sitters can send daily email updates. The company works 365 days a year, and sitters are insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates, L.L.C. It holds a rating of 5.00.

New clients begin with a Meet & Greet, which is required before visits start and is conducted by co-owner Luke. The meeting is a chance to introduce pets, walk through their routine, discuss their needs, and set future service dates, and it also covers the company's legal documents. An additional Meet & Greet with a primary sitter or walker can be arranged. Existing clients request walks and sitting visits through a client portal, with 24 hours' notice required for weekday walks and 48 hours for pet sitting visits. Weekend walk requests are due by noon on the preceding Thursday. Visits fall into morning, midday, and evening time frames. Sitters have experience giving medication to dogs and cats but do not administer shots, including insulin. The team includes Luke, Carol, and the Gentle Hearts team.

The business is on South Bellaire Street, a short distance from East Evans Avenue and about a tenth of a mile from the Colorado train station. South Valley Highway and South Colorado Boulevard are both roughly two-tenths of a mile away, East Buchtel Boulevard about three-tenths of a mile, and Most Precious Blood Catholic School around the same distance.

Gentle Hearts has built a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the care Denver pet owners have come to expect from a local, long-running sitter.
