The company was established in 2003 by Jim, Gloria, and Dave Meagher. The owners have decades of industry experience dating back to 1972, when they started a printing shop in Arvada, Colorado. Over the next 13 years, they grew the business to 32 employees before selling it in 1985. Their bindery included seven folders, two large cutters, a saddle stitcher, and other items needed for special jobs. They performed work for other Denver area binderies and printing competitors, handling overflow and extremely difficult jobs. After selling the printing company, they started Star Printer’s Parts, Inc., also in the Denver area. This venture focused on the rebuilding and servicing of folders and other bindery equipment, evolving into press rebuilding, parts sales, and pressroom and bindery supplies. They sold Star in January of 2002, traveled the country, and then launched Clear Creek Graphic Services, Inc.
