Hauth's Taekwondo

Hauth's Taekwondo is a martial arts school in Windsor, CA. It teaches the traditional Korean martial art of Taekwondo, a discipline whose name translates as "The Way of the Hand and Foot," and its classes are built for the whole family, with separate tracks for kids, teens, and adults. Children's classes are structured so that every child participates and progresses at an individual pace rather than being measured against classmates. Members train in traditional songahm forms, weapons forms using the bo staff, nunchucks, escrima sticks, kamas, katana sword, and broad sword, plus traditional sparring, combat sparring with padded escrima sticks, and creative and extreme forms. The team practices Saturdays at 11am and Thursdays at 6:15, with additional one-on-one or small group lessons included as needed. Students may join to learn the extra material without competing.

The school sits on Old Redwood Highway, about a quarter mile from where it meets Redwood Highway. Pueblo Viejo Park is roughly 0.3 miles away, as are the Sonoma County Fire Protection District headquarters and County Station 1, and the Windsor Post Office is about 0.4 miles from the school.
