Amici's has operated since 1987, bringing the distinctive flavors of the Northeast to California. The kitchen uses hand-tossed dough fired in 700-degree stone ovens to create crusts that are crisp, airy, and slightly chewy. Pies are topped with vine-ripened tomato sauce, whole milk mozzarella, farm-fresh vegetables, and premium meats. The menu also includes gluten-free pasta options, salads, sandwiches, and starters. Detroit-style pies are baked in brick ovens directly on the super-hot brick floor, resulting in a crisp, darker crust. Specific Detroit-style offerings include The MVP, Three Cheese Red Top, Pepperoni Pie, BBQ Chicken, SMOG, Veggie, Firehouse Special, and Motown Meat Lovers.

The restaurant group maintains 11 locations across Northern California, including branches in San Mateo, Redwood Shores, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Danville, San Jose, Oakland, San Rafael, and Downtown San Francisco. The corporate office is located at 69 Third Avenue in San Mateo.
