Owner Emilio and his team operate as a European specialist shop, bringing manufacturer-specific knowledge to every service and repair. The approach is grounded in precision, honesty, and transparency. Before recommending any repair, the team runs a full diagnostic to confirm the actual fault. This process uses make-specific software and tools built for European makes, ensuring confirmed faults before parts are replaced. Technicians explain what was found, why it matters, and what the repair involves, providing transparent documentation of findings that skips jargon.

Transmission diagnosis at the shop starts with fluid condition inspection and live data scans before any rebuild quote is issued. European dual-clutch and ZF automatic transmissions require model-specific fluid requirements and service intervals. The team understands how dual-clutch mechatronics units fail differently than ZF torque-converter automatics. They use diagnostic software calibrated for Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche to read fault codes accurately. The shop operates as an alternative to the dealership for European vehicle owners, offering the same technical capability without corporate policies or upsell quotas.

The business is known for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it. It stands among the strongest in its category locally for its honest diagnostics and precision work on German and European makes. The reputation reflects a commitment to dependable performance and transparent service that does not oversell or underdeliver.

Auto Precision Repair combines deep technical expertise with family-owned accountability to serve Thousand Oaks drivers who need reliable care for their European vehicles.

The shop sits on E Thousand Oaks Blvd, just ten metres from the main road it shares its name with. It is located about 0.2 miles from Hampshire Road Park and Little Oaks School, with the Ventura Freeway nearby.
