Miss Candices Dance Center

Miss Candices Dance Center is a dance studio in Riverside, CA, offering classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school age children in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical dance. The studio runs more than 40 weekly classes organized by age rather than skill level, so dancers of different abilities learn together in the same group. Classes begin with Parent and Me Dance for ages 2 to 4, continue through Broadway Babies and Wands & Wings combos for ages 4 to 6, and progress through Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical tracks, each with its own age entry point. The studio holds a rating of 5.00 based on customer reviews.

Since opening in late summer 2019, MCDC has operated as a performance-based, non-competitive studio dedicated to enriching the community through dance. The facility features two raised sprung dance floors and ample viewing windows, creating a family-friendly setting for dancers and their families. Beyond the recreational program, the studio supports two community-centered performance tracks: the Shining Stars Performance Group, a non-audition Jazz and Musical Theater program for dancers ages 8 to 18 that has performed at senior centers, city parades, charity events, shopping malls, and major theme parks, and the Nova Ballet Company, a specialized ballet-focused performance group for dancers ages 12 and up who rehearse weekly and take on featured roles in studio productions. Technique tracks in Jazz, Ballet, and Pointe, along with Pre-Pointe and Elite Pointe classes, round out the curriculum for older dancers.

The studio is located on Indiana Avenue, off the 91 freeway and near the intersection with Tyler Street in the Tyler Village area of Riverside.

Reception hours run Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to noon, with Sundays closed. Miss Candices Dance Center has built its reputation in Riverside by giving young dancers a place to grow, perform, and share their art with the wider community.
