The company has delivered catering and event design across the inland Southern California region since 1996 and holds a rating of 4.30 based on 15 reviews.

The company describes itself as a full-service caterer and event designer, handling menu selection, event timelines, theme, decor, event layout, beverage and bar details, table settings, and coordination with other vendors and venues. Its planning process moves through four stages: an initial consultation, a draft plan with a general timeline and suggested menu, fine-tuning that includes a private tasting, and production on the event day. The company is organized into three teams: a planning crew, a culinary team, and a front-of-house team of waitstaff, security, and event coordinators.

Its culinary team draws menu inspiration from the changing seasons, travel, family recipes, and client requests, and offers California eclectic menus, bistro chic, and sophisticated comfort food. Signature entrees include Cabernet-braised beef short ribs, roasted poblano-cream chicken with sweet corn cake, rosemary garlic and black pepper tri tip, salmon filet with lemon, dill, and white wine sauce, prime rib with au jus and horseradish sauce, and a vegan stuffed roasted red pepper. Dessert offerings include mini-desserts, plated desserts, and dessert stations, with items such as zesty lemon bars with fresh berries, rocky road brownies, creme brulee, Chardonnay-poached pear with mascarpone and toasted almonds, red velvet layer cake with cream cheese icing, and an ice cream sundae bar.

The business is located on River Road in Riverside, California.

As You Like It Events & Catering of Riverside has built a solid reputation among the customers it has served, and its long history of catering and event design in the region reflects that standing.
