Dolphin Health Specialty Pharmacy is a pharmacy in Oakland, CA, that provides prescription management for patients with complex or chronic conditions. The pharmacy focuses on hepatology and immunology and works as a specialty pharmacy partner for medical practices and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), handling specialty medication needs as an extension of those clinics. The pharmacy is independently owned and was started more than twenty years ago by the Patel Family, who first operated a retail pharmacy in Oakland serving the East Bay of Northern California. After seeing patients with conditions ranging from common ailments to Hepatitis C and HIV, the family split its focus: Dolphin Health Pharmacy took on chronically ill patients needing specialty pharmacy care, while Vibrant Care Pharmacy began providing long-term care facilities with multi-dose blister packaging through a patented robot called MyDoses. The same family has since built Meditab, a technology company whose Intelligent Pharmacy Software (IPS), Intelligent Medical Software (IMS) EMR, and provider portal and mobile application are used by pharmacies and providers across the country. Meditab also built the pharmacy's automated dispensing robot. The pharmacy is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm PST, Monday through Friday.

The pharmacy sits on MacArthur Boulevard in the Eastmont neighborhood, near 73rd Avenue and across the street from Oakland Fire Station 23. Eastmont Transit Center is a short walk away, and the Public Authority for IHSS in Alameda County is within roughly a third of a mile.
