Founded in 1987 as Rainbow Press, the shop has worked in the South Bay Area for over 35 years and adopted the Hillview Design Print Media name after Beth, a longtime employee, purchased the business from its relocating original owner. Beth's children grew up around the operation and later joined the staff, with Jennifer stepping into the role of General Manager while Curtis Jr. continues to contribute remotely. The business has built a full-service bindery around automated equipment for cutting, folding, stitching, perfect binding, wire-O and plastic coil binding, die cutting, gluing, tabbing, shrink-wrapping, foil stamping, and ink jetting. Mailing services include Every Door Direct Mail and targeted consumer and business list mailing, supported by in-house drivers who deliver finished work across the Bay Area. Hours run Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The office sits on Hale Avenue, with Willow Springs Creek about 0.1 miles away and Fisher Creek roughly 0.2 miles away. Central High School is within about 0.4 miles, Monterey Road lies about 0.6 miles from the door, and Baird Ranch Reserve sits less than a mile to the east.

With a 4.60 rating and a multi-generational team that has run a working print shop since 1987, Hillview Design Print Media brings design, production, bindery, and mailing under one roof for businesses across South County and the Bay Area.
