Walnut Creek Roofing

Walnut Creek Roofing is a roofing contractor in Martinez, CA. Established in 1952 and incorporated as Walnut Creek Roofing, Inc. in 1981, the company currently focuses on roof inspections and roof repairs. Jason, the President-Owner since 2006, began in the roofing industry in 1996 working in distribution, then spent 2000 onward with roofing manufacturers as a sales representative and technical trainer, training roofers and distributors across Northern California and the United States on product installation. He continues to attend manufacturer shows and training events and networks with other roofers in the area. WCR carries general liability insurance.

The company performs two kinds of inspections. Real estate roof inspections serve buyers and sellers; reports are emailed and include photos, the condition of the roof, needed repairs, and the roof's serviceable life. Homeowner roof inspections differ: the report is handwritten and handed over the same day with no photos, giving homeowners the condition of the roof and how much life remains. Repairs begin with a fee-based homeowner inspection, and when the repair is done the same day that inspection fee is waived. Work includes repairing leaks, cleaning off roofs, installing new flashings, and replacing damaged shingles and tiles. Roof types served include asphalt shingles, wood shakes, concrete tiles, and tar and gravel. The company does not do full replacements and refers replacement work to other roofing companies, though it can provide an approximate replacement cost.

The business sits on Arthur Road, about a tenth of a mile from Arthur Road itself and Vine Hill Creek, and roughly the same distance from Pacheco Boulevard. Las Juntas Elementary School is about 0.2 miles away, as are the Senator Daniel E Boatwright Highway and the Contra Costa Canal.

With more than seven decades of roofing experience behind it and a focus narrowed to inspections and repairs, Walnut Creek Roofing gives Martinez homeowners and local property buyers and sellers a straight assessment of a roof's condition and remaining life.
