Gilbert Studios Music of Lemon Grove is a music school in Lemon Grove, CA. It offers piano, flute, guitar, violin, voice, and music theory lessons, along with live DJ and emcee services and live musicians. Lessons are taught in a home studio, most running weekly for 30 minutes, with material and pace adjusted to suit each student's needs. Select students across the United States are taught virtually via Zoom. The studio serves La Mesa, San Diego, and beyond. It holds a rating of 5.00.

The principal teacher, Emily, has been teaching adults and kids since 1995, bringing more than 28 years of experience. She works to make learning music fun and encourages students to grow at their own pace. Emily and CJ Gilbert are life-long students of music. Emily has studied the flute since grade school, taught kids' choir in high school, and toured with the Azusa Pacific University Choir and Orchestra. CJ has studied piano since grade school, picked up guitar in middle school, and took up drums and percussion in high school. Together they have played for weddings, events, churches, and theater productions. Their children share the same passion: Caden attends Grossmont College, majoring in guitar and music, and Kenna has been studying violin since she was 8. Emily teaches flute, voice, piano, and theory; Caden teaches guitar; Kenna teaches violin.

Students and parents describe customized learning experiences shaped to individual needs, patient instruction that moves at the student's pace, and teachers who build confidence in first-time players. One student went from no knowledge of reading music to identifying every key on the keyboard within an hour, while another returned to the violin after a decade away and came to love the instrument through lessons with Kenna.

The studio sits on La Mesa Blvd in Lemon Grove, close to the La Mesa and San Diego communities it serves.
