Advanced Painting Contractors

Advanced Painting Contractors is a painter in Lawndale, California, serving the Los Angeles South Bay and surrounding areas. The company handles both exterior and interior painting through specialty teams, working on single-family homes, HOA properties, multi-unit buildings, commercial, light industrial, institutional, hospitality and high rise projects. The company holds a 5.00 rating from its customers. Advanced Painting Contractors has offered painting services in the Greater Los Angeles area since 1983, and its experience in the trade reaches back further, with the owner learning painting and repair work from his father from a young age and taking on his first paying customer in 1974 before moving to the work full time in 1982. The company's stated approach is captured in its motto, that the preparation goes in before the paint goes on, and it treats preparation as a core part of a project, estimating it can account for up to 60 percent of the work. Preparation steps include hot-water power washing, removal of mildew, moss and surface dirt, high-end caulking and patching materials, two-part epoxy, acrylic adhesives, de-glossers, primer and paint conditioners, two-part finishes, and protection of surfaces not being painted. The company is licensed, bonded and does not use subcontractors. Its services extend beyond painting to carpentry and iron work before painting, handled by full-time in-house carpenters who remove and replace termite and dry rot damage, fascia boards, under-eaves material, railings, decking, drywall, molding and baseboards, along with handyman repairs including cleanup and haul away. It also installs, repairs and tunes up rain gutters, including cleaning and reattaching, unclogging downspouts, resealing, re-sloping and system testing, plus leaf and debris guards. Faux finishes are another specialty. The company holds a C-33 painting license and a B-1 general contractor's building license, and it will decline work up front when it lacks satisfied customers to serve as references for that scope. Advanced Painting Contractors is located on Rosecrans Ave in Lawndale. Its 5.00 rating reflects the customers who have reviewed it, and its more than three decades of painting in the South Bay make it a long-established name for residential, commercial and industrial work in the area.
