Strategic K9 Training LLC of La Presa

Strategic K9 Training LLC of La Presa is a dog training business in La Presa, CA, located at 9978 Campo Rd. The business helps San Diego dog owners build calm, reliable behavior through structured training for issues such as leash pulling, reactivity, jumping, anxiety, and obedience around distractions. Founder Kevin Sutton works directly with every dog and owner, focusing on real-world behavior tailored to each dog’s lifestyle and family dynamic. The company offers behavioral and obedience training, including board-and-train programs, and provides ongoing support beyond the initial program. It holds a rating of 4.90 based on customer reviews.

The training approach begins with a short questionnaire so Kevin understands the dog’s behavior and goals, followed by a hands-on evaluation where he works directly with the owner and dog to assess behavior and real-life challenges. Based on this assessment, the business recommends the best training path forward. Clients can start with a 10-minute intro call for general questions, though pricing is provided only after the in-person evaluation. The company emphasizes clear communication, structure, and accountability, ensuring owners feel confident and informed every step of the way.

Strategic K9 Training is a family-owned business built around real dogs and real results. Kevin Sutton, a hands-on trainer, ensures that no one-size-fits-all programs are used. Instead, every dog is trained based on their specific behavior, lifestyle, and family dynamic. The goal is to create calm, reliable behavior that works at home and in the real world. The business works closely with owners so they are supported every step of the way.

The business is known for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it. This reflects the satisfaction of families who have seen amazing changes in their dogs, such as the transition of a ten-month-old golden-doodle from a board-and-train program. Customers highlight the love, knowledge, and dedication shown by Kevin and his team, including his own dog, Ryder.
